Which players were selected for Troy's English top-flight Team of the Week?

Following each round of English football games in the current term, expert commentator Troy Deeney shares his lineup and boss of the Week.

Below are the most recent selections. Do you agree? Let us know via the feedback section at the bottom.

Keeper

Alphonse Areola (West Ham): His team could have been trailing by six at Bournemouth but for him. Massive moment, rose to the occasion and displayed top ability. Some top goalkeeping to earn them a 2-2 draw. A loss could have dismantled their entire term.

Backline

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's up there for player of the season. Many discuss Gunners' stars. He is the top performer by a country mile.

Murillo (Nottingham Forest): You'd have been a crazy Forest fan to say 'He scores and we overcome Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You could have gotten huge prices on that. He performed brilliantly. He is turning into a powerhouse. He proves to be a challenge. Delighted to observe his form similar to before.

Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I observed him a few times the previous season in Italy for AC Milan and he struggled due to errors. But at Newcastle he's impressed greatly. He's been great strength and forceful and appears graceful. It appears he has discovered a spiritual home.

Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not naturally a defender, more of a contemporary style in attack. He is a wonderful signing for Brighton. Who would be surprised at them discovering another star unexpectedly? I thought after selling Pervis Estupinan it raised eyebrows but the Seagulls understand what they're doing.

Midfielders

Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Alike in style and they're in for the same reason. Their clubs triumphed, many mention those who netted, but without these two the squads falter. They are so good. They disrupt opposition, they join the offense.

Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The current star. Numerous supporters, including my son, expressed skepticism whether he was the man to lead them to success. A hat-trick in the north London derby and supporters now wish to erect a monument of him. Goals, composure, he ran the show. The best player on the pitch.

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Perhaps this represents aspect I share with Thomas Tuchel on - he has got to a point now where it will prove extremely tough to leave him out. I felt he began well this campaign, I believe he seemed somewhat presumptuous and believed he could have got a move to Chelsea, and perhaps aimed for that, but he appears to have found his footing. Two great goals in the Leeds match helped his club from behind. He made the impact.

Forwards

Callum Wilson (West Ham): I said he doesn't look his typical form. It seemed his pace had gone. But wow. Words fail me. He was excellent. Phenomenal in his approach and through his scoring.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A really interesting player. He excels, often more effective as a substitute, but Anthony Gordon has an injury so he has to play. He failed to convert a huge chance against Manchester City at 0-0 with his easiest shot. However showing the psychological strength to put himself in challenging moments and net two was remarkable.

Manager

Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He comes in and outperforms Arne Slot. A wonderful gameplan. It could have been five or six for Forest and few would dispute.
