The First Xbox Game Pass Titles of 2026 Show Xbox Isn't Giving Up Yet.

Across the gaming landscape, fans keep sounding the funeral bells for the green team. Xbox was recently outsold by a platform few have heard of. Xbox fan sites have started writing about PlayStation as a new development. The past year represented an era of significant turmoil for Xbox and Microsoft. Yet, based exclusively on the upcoming Game Pass lineup in 2026, it is apparent that Xbox still intends to engage players with compelling titles on its key platform.

The Immediate Additions

The two games you can play right now at this moment, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, don't represent the biggest draws. Rather, it's what is coming to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's truly noteworthy.

Significant Forthcoming Releases

On Jan. 13, the subscription service will add the underrated Star Wars Outlaws, a vast exploration title that deviates from typical Ubisoft design with a cosmic robbery tale. An additional significant inclusion is Resident Evil Village with its iconic tall vampire, previously described as "an ideal blend of frights and fights."

Noteworthy Smaller Games

But even the smaller games set to join the catalog deserve recognition. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, a fantastic but under-the-radar dungeon crawler that's a blast to play, becomes available next week — and it's worth experiencing regardless of whether you played the first Lost in Random game.

The British post-apocalyptic game from last year could captivate you within just a quarter of an hour.

Atomfall, a game blending infiltration and resource management by Rebellion Developments, is another one to watch. Those with the top-tier subscription also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to get excited about.

A Robust Selection of Games

All in all, this isn't a revolutionary update to Game Pass, and they are also not massive exclusive blockbusters that justify the service in the first place. Yet, this selection are exceptionally strong. It offers a healthy blend of past releases that passed you by and fairly new titles that didn't get the attention they warranted upon launch — transforming them into perfect candidates to experience a revival on Game Pass.

Be prepared to say goodbye to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, as it happens.
