Letitia James Confronts Criminal Bank Fraud Indictment

A federal grand jury has charged the New York attorney general for financial misconduct this past Thursday, according to a person familiar with the matter.

The US attorney for the eastern district of Virginia handled the presentation of the charges before the judicial panel this Thursday, as reported.

Federal prosecutors rarely appear before a grand jury.

Halligan was installed in the role recently after the president grew impatient over the speed in ongoing probes against his rivals.

It comes two weeks following Halligan secured charges involving Comey.

Experienced attorneys drafted a memorandum for that matter outlining why indictments were not justified.

Comey denied the charges recently.
