Colts Face Falcons in German Capital – Week 10 NFL Action

Guten tag, football enthusiasts. Wie gehts? Alles klar I trust on this excellent early start to week 10 coming directly from Germany. The Olympiastadion in Berlin to be precise where at 9:30 AM EST and 2:30 PM GMT the mighty Colts (7-2) face off against the Atlanta Falcons (three wins and five losses). The fifth game played on soil in Germany and the initial in the capital city.

Pre-match Key Moments

When it comes to glittering attire that is an absolute belter from Katarina Witt on the opening flip. A slight fluff from the broadcast team there as we hear “which team got the coin flip?” from the commentator with an accidentally live microphone.

Well, the Colts have won the toss and have elected to receive. Daniel Jones and company will be setting up shortly. Will the QB bounce back after a rough one in their last game?

Not to be outdone the vocalist performing the US national anthem has some of the biggest shoulder embellishments you are ever likely to see. Loving the sartorial choices today. We are almost underway after a choral number for the German anthem. Elegant.

Opening Period Action

Scoreless at 13:30 in the first

Here we go! And we have an exciting start after Jonathan Taylor catches a screen pass, sweeps out for 15 yards to the right then loses the ball … only for his offensive lineman to save his bacon with the recovery. Indianapolis quickly moves into Atlanta's half.

Colts 0-0 Falcons 10:51, 1st quarter

And the drama keeps coming as the Indianapolis attempts a fourth-down conversion. The risk doesn't work out as the wide receiver cannot reel in a fastball from Jones. Prior to the failed attempt the Falcons defender put a massive tackle on tight end Mo Alie-Cox. The Falcons have come out fighting on defense as they try and snap their string of three losses. Next up Sauce Garner’s debut!

Touchdown Updates

First score: Colts lead 6-0 at 8:36

Did Kyle Pitts just drop a touchdown? The tight end drops a clanger, he was wide open but the ball just swishes through his hands. That moment reflects the first round pick’s career to date.

A disappointing start but it only deteriorates for the Falcons as they turn over possession to the Indianapolis on the 23-yard line. The Falcons quarterback is hunted down and can’t keep hold of the ball.

An agile 22-yard rush from the Colts receiver sets the running back up to easily run for a touchdown on the next snap. Kicker Michael Badgley skews the extra point wide. Oops.

Falcons respond: 6-7 at 6:07

Penix Jr puts the fumble behind him by marching his Falcons down the field for a touchdown. The wide receiver makes some chunky receptions to put them in the red zone then the defense opens up for the running back to run untouched into the end zone through the middle of the defense for a 13-yard gain. The running back finishes it off for a one-yard touchdown of his own. The Falcons take the lead.

Additional Week 10 Games

Additionally, the jumbo package starting at 12pm CST/1pm EST/6pm GMT (home teams listed first) is as follows:
